The Altra Men's Rivera Road Running Shoe is designed with a trimmer fit than the typical Altra shoe for runners with narrower feet. As with other Altra running shoes, the Rivera has zero heel-to-toe drop. Altra's Balanced Cushioning technology positions the heel and forefoot at the same distance from the ground to encourage better, more natural running form. To reduce weight and increase flexibility, the Innerflex midsole is designed as a grid rather than a solid sole. Similarly, the Footpod outsole provides support where it's needed for bones while allowing flex where it's needed by tendons. All of these proprietary Altra technologies come together to create an extraordinary running shoe that will be your new go-to for road running.
